piece of cake!

well that wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be! The hard part is ALL the paperwork we need to fill out now!! wow!!!! there is sooo much! where do we even begin! Our classes are on Dec 3rd and 10th! We sure do have alot to do! I am so excited to start this journey! :)

Intake interview

This morning I am up bright and early.Today we are going to meet with the social worker so she can do an intake interview.pretty much means interview me and Matt on why we want to adopt ,how we meet what treatments we did and fingerprints. I'm not really sure what to expect today, a little part of me keeps telling me its not fair why do I have to go threw all these hoops and have every personal part of our life picked apart just to have a family when most people just get pregnant right away even ones who are addicted to drugs or other things. I remind myself of a book my sister gave me , Choosing Gratitude! being Thankful in every part of my life even the hard trials.So today instead of going here feeling angery that I have to go threw this,I am going to feel Thankful that the Lord has opened this door.

I believe God wanted me to read this today. " When I Don't get what I want , I remember there's a Bigger picture and Bigger Storyline! I Go to God First and Trust in Him! Sometimes God puts things in our Path at the perfect momement! :)

It's been awhile!

Sorry it`s been a year or so since I posted! I write this with good intentions of blogging at least once a week ! Summer is comming to an end and I look foward to the extra time I will have! I am already thinking of my Christmas gifts I will be making and more time for piano practice and sharing on my blog some wonderful recipes I tried this summer!Have a blessed day! :)

The sun is trying to peek threw the clouds!



I am thinking...
of all the excitment going on this week! Thanksgiving with my parents and going to the American Thanksging Day Parade! Then maybe some shopping on Friday!



I am thankful for...
since it is thanksgiving this week I wanted to name off a few extra things I was thankful for! First I am thankful for my God and all my sins washed away!
I am also thankful for ,Our church , bible, my Family,and I am so thankful that God gave me strength and I am no longer where I was a year ago,and like the song says Because he lives I can face tomaarow! Thanking God he is so good!

A few plans for the rest of the week:
finish work, then wednesday there is no Awana so I am really looking foward to a church night! I also will be looking foward to baking my turkey cake
Thursday off to the Parade early in the morning! Then My mom and dads for so yummy food! Friday I might brave the crowd and find some bargains! Saturday we will be putting the tree up~
